One quiet afternoon, CUTIS wandered deep into the garden behind the house, a place full of wild plants and hidden surprises. While exploring, he noticed a strange fruit hanging from a crooked tree. It was unlike anything he had seen before—bright purple with tiny golden spots that shimmered in the sunlight.
“Wow… what is this?” CUTIS whispered, eyes wide with curiosity.
He looked around to make sure no one was watching. Dad had always told him not to pick unknown fruits, but something about this one felt special. “Maybe I can do something amazing with it,” he thought.
Carefully, CUTIS climbed the tree and harvested a few of the strange fruits, placing them gently into his basket. He hurried back to the house, sneaking into the kitchen like a little spy on a secret mission.
CUTIS had an idea—he wanted to make something special for Dad, who had been working hard all week and looked very tired. “This will be a surprise!” he said softly.
He washed the fruit, sliced it open, and was amazed by the glowing, juicy inside. The sweet, fresh smell filled the kitchen. CUTIS decided to make a special juice. He mixed the fruit with a bit of honey and water, stirring carefully like a real chef.
After finishing, he poured the bright, colorful drink into a cup and waited for the perfect moment.
Later that evening, Dad came home looking exhausted. CUTIS ran up to him with a big smile. “Dad! I made something for you!”
Dad looked surprised. “For me? What is it?”
“It’s a special juice,” CUTIS said proudly. “I made it myself!”
Dad hesitated for a second but saw the excitement in CUTIS’s eyes. He took a sip… then another… and suddenly his face lit up. “Wow! This tastes incredible! I feel refreshed already!”
CUTIS laughed happily. “Really?”
“Yes!” Dad said, smiling warmly. “You’ve made my day, CUTIS. This is exactly what I needed.”
In that moment, CUTIS felt like a hero. Even though he had taken a small risk, his kind intention made a big difference.
From then on, CUTIS learned to always be careful—but he also discovered that thoughtful surprises can turn ordinary days into something truly special.
