For many days, little CUTIS had been missing from home. Nobody knew exactly where he had gone. His family searched everywhere around the village, near the river, and even in the fruit garden he loved so much. Every day, Dad called his name with worry, while Mom quietly waited and hoped for his safe return.
The house felt empty without the playful little monkey. His toys remained untouched, and even mealtime became silent. Everyone missed CUTIS deeply.
Far away from home, CUTIS had been living alone in the forest. At first, he thought the adventure would be exciting. He climbed tall trees, explored small streams, and searched for fruits by himself. But after several lonely nights, the forest no longer felt fun.
The cold wind at night frightened him. Strange animal sounds echoed through the trees, and there was nobody to hug him when he became scared. CUTIS slowly realized how much he missed his family’s love and warmth.
One rainy afternoon, CUTIS sat quietly under a large tree, looking sad and tired. His fur was wet, and his small stomach rumbled with hunger. As he watched the rain fall, memories of home filled his mind — Mom preparing warm food, Dad making everyone laugh, and the family sitting together peacefully.
Tears slowly formed in his eyes.
“I want to go home,” CUTIS whispered softly.
Gathering his courage, the little monkey finally began walking back through the forest path. He carefully followed the river and recognized familiar places little by little. After a long journey, he finally saw the small house in the distance.
At that very moment, Dad stepped outside and froze in shock.
“CUTIS!” he shouted loudly.
The whole family rushed outside immediately. Mom quickly hugged CUTIS tightly while tears of happiness rolled down her cheeks. Dad smiled with relief, and everyone surrounded the little monkey with love.
CUTIS apologized for leaving home and promised never to disappear without telling anyone again. His family gently forgave him because they were simply grateful he had returned safely.
That evening, the family prepared a warm dinner together. Laughter once again filled the house, replacing the sadness of the previous days.
As CUTIS sat between Mom and Dad, enjoying the warmth of home, he finally understood something important: no adventure in the forest could ever replace the love of family.
