Everyone in the house was still sleeping peacefully when little CUTIS suddenly woke up very early in the morning. The sky outside was still dark, and even the birds had not started singing yet. But CUTIS already had a crazy idea in mind — he wanted to wake Dad up in the most unexpected way possible.
Usually, Dad was very difficult to wake up. No matter how loud the alarm rang, he would simply turn around and continue sleeping. Sometimes even Mom had trouble getting him out of bed. CUTIS thought this was very funny and secretly planned something nobody would dare to try.
The naughty little boy quietly tiptoed into the kitchen. He looked around carefully to make sure nobody saw him. Then, he grabbed a small cooking pot, a spoon, and one of Dad’s funny hats hanging near the door.
CUTIS smiled mischievously.
He slowly entered Dad’s bedroom and carefully placed the funny hat on Dad’s sleeping head. Dad was still snoring loudly and had no idea what was happening. CUTIS tried not to laugh as he prepared the second part of his reckless plan.
Suddenly — BANG! BANG! BANG!
CUTIS began hitting the cooking pot with the spoon as loudly as he could while shouting, “Emergency! Emergency! Wake up, Dad!”
Dad jumped out of bed in complete shock. His blanket flew onto the floor, and he almost lost balance while trying to understand what was happening. When he noticed the funny hat still sitting on his head, the entire room burst into laughter.
Mom rushed into the room thinking something serious had happened, but instead she found CUTIS rolling on the floor laughing while Dad looked completely confused.
“You scared me half to death!” Dad said while trying not to laugh himself.
But CUTIS was not finished yet. He proudly explained that he wanted to create “the strongest alarm clock in the world” because normal alarms never worked on Dad.
Even though everyone was shocked by CUTIS’s fearless idea, they could not stop laughing at the hilarious scene. Dad finally gave up pretending to be angry and carried CUTIS onto his shoulders.
That morning became one of the funniest family memories ever. Nobody expected CUTIS to wake Dad in such a reckless and unbelievable way — a plan no one else would ever dare to try!
