This morning turned into a wonderful adventure when little Lily joined Dad on a trip to buy sweet potatoes for making delicious homemade cakes. As soon as Dad picked up the shopping basket, Lily became extremely excited and hurried after him with tiny energetic steps. She clearly understood that something tasty was about to happen!
On the way to the market, Lily sat happily beside Dad, looking around with curious eyes. Every time she saw colorful fruits or vegetables, she pointed excitedly and made adorable little sounds. People at the market immediately noticed the playful monkey and couldn’t stop smiling at how cute she looked walking beside Dad like a tiny shopping assistant.

After choosing the biggest and nicest sweet potatoes, Lily proudly placed them into the basket. She even hugged one giant sweet potato tightly as if it were a special treasure. The seller laughed so hard after seeing this funny moment that she gave Lily an extra sweet potato for free.
Back at home, the real fun began. Dad started preparing the ingredients for the cakes while Lily sat nearby watching every step carefully. She helped wash the sweet potatoes and even tried stirring the cake mixture with a wooden spoon. Although she accidentally splashed some batter onto the table and her own face, everyone found it absolutely adorable.
Soon, the delicious smell of sweet potato cakes filled the kitchen. Lily became incredibly impatient and kept peeking into the oven every few minutes. The moment the cakes were finally ready, she clapped excitedly and jumped around the room with happiness.
