monkey LYLY was quietly playing with her favorite toys in the living room while her mother prepared dinner in the kitchen. Outside, dark clouds slowly covered the sky, and the wind began to blow harder and harder. LYLY didn’t pay much attention at first because she was too busy building a tiny house with colorful blocks.
Suddenly… the lights went out! 😱
The entire house became dark in just one second. The television stopped, the fan became silent, and strange sounds from outside made LYLY freeze in fear. She looked around nervously as shadows filled the room.
“M-Mom?” LYLY whispered softly.
But another loud thunderclap boomed across the sky, making the frightened little monkey jump. Without thinking twice, LYLY rushed through the dark hallway as fast as her tiny legs could carry her.
“Mommy! Mommy!” she cried.
In the kitchen, LYLY’s mother was already searching for candles when she suddenly felt two tiny arms hugging her tightly. LYLY buried her face into her mother’s chest, trembling from fear. Her mother smiled warmly and gently stroked her soft fur.
“It’s okay, sweetheart,” she whispered kindly. “I’m right here.”
Even though the power outage made the house dark and quiet, LYLY instantly felt safe again beside her mother. A few moments later, Mom lit several candles around the room. Their soft golden glow made the house feel cozy instead of scary.
To help LYLY feel better, Mom prepared warm milk and brought out some delicious banana cakes. 🍌🕯️ Soon, the storm outside didn’t seem so frightening anymore.
Then came the most heartwarming part of the night.
Since there was no electricity, LYLY’s mother suggested they spend time together without phones or television. They sat beside the candlelight, sharing funny stories, singing little songs, and laughing together. LYLY even rested her head on her mother’s lap while listening to the rain outside.
Before bedtime, LYLY smiled happily and whispered, “Maybe power outages aren’t so bad after all.”
Her mother kissed her forehead gently and hugged her close.
That stormy night, what started with fear and darkness ended with warmth, love, and beautiful family memories that LYLY would never forget. ❤️
