The morning sun had just begun shining over the farm when little Monkey Xuka woke up feeling excited and energetic. He quickly jumped out of bed after smelling something delicious coming from the kitchen. Today, Auntie was preparing a warm breakfast for everyone, and Xuka couldn’t wait to help her cook vegetable noodles.
As soon as he entered the kitchen, Xuka saw fresh vegetables spread all over the table. There were carrots, cabbage, green onions, tomatoes, and leafy greens waiting to be chopped. Auntie smiled warmly and tied a tiny apron around Xuka’s waist. “Today, you are my little kitchen assistant,” she said happily.
Xuka clapped his hands with excitement. First, Auntie asked him to help wash the vegetables. The playful monkey carefully carried a bowl of carrots to the sink. He splashed water everywhere while cleaning them, making Auntie laugh loudly. Even though the kitchen floor became a little wet, Auntie appreciated how hard Xuka was trying to help.
Next, Xuka stood on a small chair beside the table and watched Auntie cut the vegetables into tiny pieces. He tried to copy her by using a safe plastic knife to cut soft mushrooms. Although the pieces were uneven and funny-looking, Auntie praised him for doing a great job.
Soon, the pot of soup began to boil. Auntie added noodles into the bubbling water while Xuka carefully dropped in the colorful vegetables one by one. The steam rose into the air, carrying a wonderful smell throughout the house. Xuka’s tummy growled loudly as he stirred the noodles with a wooden spoon.
While waiting for breakfast to finish cooking, Xuka secretly tasted a noodle from the pot. It was still hot, and he quickly fanned his mouth while jumping around the kitchen. Auntie burst into laughter at the silly little monkey.
Finally, the vegetable noodles were ready. Auntie served the warm bowls onto the table, and everyone gathered together for breakfast. Xuka proudly sat beside Auntie with a huge smile on his face. The noodles were delicious, fresh, and full of love.
That morning became one of the happiest family breakfasts ever, all thanks to Monkey Xuka and his adorable cooking adventure with Auntie.
