Uncle Takes Zika to the Market to Buy Tomatoes for Making Juice
One bright morning, little monkey Zika woke up feeling excited. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and his uncle had a special plan for the day.
“Zika, would you like to come with me to the market?” Uncle asked with a smile.
“Yes! Yes!” Zika cheered, jumping happily. “What are we going to buy?”
“We need fresh tomatoes to make delicious tomato juice,” Uncle replied.
Zika quickly grabbed his little basket and followed Uncle down the village road. Along the way, they saw colorful flowers, friendly neighbors, and playful puppies running around. Zika waved to everyone they met.
When they arrived at the market, Zika’s eyes grew wide with excitement. There were so many fruits and vegetables everywhere! Bright red tomatoes, green cucumbers, yellow bananas, and juicy watermelons filled the stalls.
“Wow! Everything looks so fresh,” said Zika.
Uncle nodded. “Let’s find the best tomatoes for our juice.”
The two carefully visited several stalls. Zika picked up a tomato and examined it closely.
“This one is soft,” he said.
“Good observation,” Uncle replied. “We need firm, ripe tomatoes.”
Soon, they found a farmer selling beautiful red tomatoes. They were shiny, fresh, and smelled wonderful.
“These are perfect!” Zika exclaimed.
The farmer smiled and placed the tomatoes into their basket. Zika happily carried the basket while Uncle paid for the vegetables.
On the way home, Zika asked, “Can I help make the juice?”
“Of course,” Uncle answered.
Back at home, they washed the tomatoes carefully. Uncle showed Zika how to cut them safely and place them into the blender. After blending the tomatoes with a little sugar and ice, they poured the juice into glasses.
The bright red juice looked delicious.
Zika took a sip and smiled. “Wow! This is the best tomato juice ever!”
“That’s because we chose the tomatoes together,” Uncle said proudly.
Zika felt happy knowing he had helped from the beginning. It was not just about making juice—it was about spending time with Uncle, learning new things, and working together.
From that day on, Zika always remembered their fun trip to the market and the tasty tomato juice they made together.
