Early in the morning, little monkey Zika woke up feeling excited and full of energy. As sunlight shined through the windows, the delicious smell of fresh corn filled the house. Zika quickly ran into the kitchen and discovered his uncle preparing ingredients for breakfast.
“Good morning, Zika!” Uncle said with a smile. “Today we’re making sweet corn milk for breakfast. Would you like to help me?”
Hearing that made Zika jump with happiness. He loved helping in the kitchen, especially when it involved tasty food and fun activities. Without wasting a second, the little monkey eagerly nodded and climbed onto a small chair beside the counter.
First, Uncle showed Zika how to peel the fresh corn carefully. Zika tried his best to remove the husks neatly, although a few corn silk strands stuck to his fur and made everyone laugh. Soon, a big bowl of bright yellow corn kernels was ready.
Next, Uncle placed the corn into a blender with warm milk and a little sugar. Zika watched closely with wide eyes as the machine blended everything into a creamy golden drink. The sweet aroma immediately spread throughout the kitchen.
“Wow! It smells amazing!” Zika said excitedly.
After blending, Uncle poured the mixture into a pot to cook slowly. Zika carefully stirred the corn milk using a wooden spoon while Uncle reminded him to be gentle. The little monkey felt proud because he was helping make breakfast for the whole family.
As the corn milk became warm and smooth, Uncle poured it into colorful cups. Zika couldn’t wait to taste it. He carefully took a sip and his face instantly lit up with joy.
“This is so delicious!” he shouted happily.
The creamy drink was sweet, fresh, and perfect for the cool morning. Soon, everyone gathered around the table to enjoy breakfast together. They drank the homemade corn milk while chatting and laughing happily.
Uncle smiled proudly at Zika and said, “You did a wonderful job today.”
Hearing those words made Zika feel very special. Helping make breakfast with his uncle had turned into one of the happiest mornings ever. From that day on, Zika always looked forward to cooking delicious meals together with his favorite uncle.
