One sunny morning, Zika’s uncle decided it was the perfect day to pick fresh coconuts from the tall trees behind the house. The weather was beautiful, and everyone was excited because cold coconut juice was their favorite afternoon treat.
Little monkey Zika happily followed Uncle to the garden, carrying a small basket while jumping excitedly around the coconut trees.
“Be careful up there!” the family warned as Uncle began climbing.
But Uncle simply smiled confidently and continued climbing higher and higher. He had picked coconuts many times before, so nobody expected anything unusual to happen.
At first, everything went smoothly.
Uncle reached the top of the tall tree and started twisting the coconuts loose one by one. The heavy fruits dropped safely onto the grass below while Zika clapped happily each time one landed.
Then suddenly…
CRACK!
A dry branch near Uncle’s foot unexpectedly snapped. Everyone froze in shock as Uncle lost his balance for a moment. He tried grabbing another branch quickly, but his hat flew into the air while he slipped awkwardly down the trunk.
“Uncle!” Zika screamed in panic.
Thankfully, Uncle didn’t fall all the way to the ground. Instead, he became stuck halfway down the tree with both arms wrapped tightly around the trunk. His face looked terrified while the family rushed over to help him.
The funniest part was that Uncle’s shirt had become tangled on a broken branch above him. No matter how hard he tried to move, he couldn’t slide down properly.
Meanwhile, little Zika became surprisingly helpful.
The clever monkey quickly ran to bring a ladder while the others carefully supported Uncle from below. After several nervous but funny moments, Uncle finally reached the ground safely.
Everyone sighed with relief.
Uncle sat on the grass breathing heavily while Zika hugged him tightly. Then the entire family suddenly burst into laughter after noticing something hilarious—during the accident, several coconuts had fallen directly onto Uncle’s basket hat, smashing it completely flat.
Even Uncle couldn’t stop laughing at his unlucky adventure.
From that day on, he always double-checked every branch before climbing another coconut tree again.
