Baby Monkey Lala was usually the happiest little monkey in the neighborhood. Every day, she followed her mom everywhere, from the garden to the kitchen, always looking for cuddles and treats. But one morning, something unexpected happened that made Lala very sad.
It all started when Mom was busy cleaning the house. Lala wanted to play, so she tugged gently on her mom’s shirt and made cute little sounds. Usually, Mom would smile and pick her up. But this time, Mom was focused on her work and softly told Lala to wait.
Lala sat quietly in the corner. She watched Mom moving from room to room without stopping. The little monkey felt ignored. Her tiny heart became heavy, and she began to think that maybe Mom didn’t want to spend time with her anymore.
Feeling lonely, Lala packed her favorite toy, a small blanket, and a banana into a tiny bag. She looked around the house one last time and slowly walked toward the gate. In her mind, she thought, “Maybe I should leave and find a new place where someone wants to play with me.”
As Lala reached the gate, she heard her mom calling her name. Mom had finally finished her chores and was looking everywhere for her precious baby. When she saw Lala carrying the little bag, she rushed over with concern.
“Where are you going, my sweet Lala?” Mom asked.
Lala lowered her head and made a sad face. Mom quickly understood what had happened. She gently hugged Lala and explained that she had only been busy with work, not upset with her.
The little monkey listened carefully. Soon, tears turned into smiles. Mom picked her up, kissed her forehead, and promised they would spend the afternoon together.
Lala happily unpacked her bag and threw her tiny arms around Mom’s neck. She realized that her mother loved her more than anything in the world.
That day ended with laughter, cuddles, and plenty of playtime. And Lala learned an important lesson: sometimes, a little patience and understanding can make all the sadness disappear.
