“LYLY, would you like to come to the market with me today?” Mom asked with a smile.
At first, LYLY wasn’t sure. She had planned to stay home and play with her favorite toys. But after hearing that the market would have colorful fruits, tasty snacks, and many interesting things to see, she quickly changed her mind.
“Yes! I want to go!” LYLY replied excitedly.
The trip started wonderfully. LYLY happily walked beside her mother, looking at all the busy shops and friendly faces. She admired the bright vegetables, fresh flowers, and delicious smells coming from the food stalls.
Then trouble began.
While her mother was choosing ingredients for dinner, LYLY noticed a stand selling sweet treats nearby. Without telling her mother, she wandered over to take a closer look. The colorful desserts caught her attention so much that she forgot where she was.
A few moments later, LYLY turned around and realized something frightening.
Mom was nowhere to be seen.
Suddenly, the noisy market felt much bigger than before. LYLY looked left and right, trying to find her mother among the crowd. Her excitement quickly turned into worry.
“I shouldn’t have walked away,” LYLY thought sadly.
Meanwhile, Mom was searching everywhere for her curious little monkey. After several anxious minutes, she finally spotted LYLY standing near the dessert stall with tears in her eyes.
“Mom!” LYLY cried as she ran over for a big hug.
Mom gently reminded her, “The market can be very busy. You should always stay close and tell me before going anywhere.”
LYLY nodded immediately.
On the way home, she quietly reflected on what had happened. She realized that going to the market was fun, but being careful was even more important.
By the end of the day, LYLY had learned an important lesson: adventures are best enjoyed when you stay close to the people who care for you.
