Farmer CUTIS was known throughout the village for his creativity. Whenever a problem appeared on the farm, he always found an unusual way to solve it. One sunny morning, it was finally time to harvest the ripe bananas growing behind the house.
The banana trees were full of beautiful yellow fruit hanging high above the ground. Everyone expected CUTIS to use a ladder or ask for help carrying the heavy bunches down. But CUTIS had a completely different idea.
With a confident smile, he gathered a few simple tools from the storage shed: a basket, some rope, and a small wooden cart. Curious neighbors watched from a distance, wondering what he was planning.
First, CUTIS carefully tied the basket beneath the large bunch of bananas. Then he attached the rope to a nearby branch and created a simple pulley system. Instead of letting the heavy bananas fall to the ground and become damaged, he slowly lowered them safely into the waiting cart below.
The villagers were amazed.
“What a clever idea!” one neighbor exclaimed.
CUTIS grinned proudly as he repeated the process with another bunch. The bananas arrived safely every time without a single bruise or scratch.

To make transportation easier, he organized the harvested bananas by size and ripeness directly in the cart. This saved time later when preparing them for the market.

The farm was filled with fresh bananas, and the work had been done faster than anyone expected. Even the younger helpers on the farm were excited to learn CUTIS’s special method.
That afternoon, everyone gathered to enjoy sweet bananas and celebrate the successful harvest.
