The sun had just risen over the peaceful farm when Smart Monkey Zika jumped out of bed, excited for a busy day. Today was special because the colorful bell peppers in the garden were finally ready to be harvested. Zika had promised to help Dad gather the fresh vegetables so Mom could cook everyone’s favorite stir-fried noodles for lunch.
Instead of carrying small baskets by hand, Zika had a clever idea. Dad smiled and handed over the keys to the little JCB tractor that Zika had practiced driving many times before. Wearing a bright yellow safety helmet, Zika carefully started the engine and slowly drove toward the bell pepper field.
Rows of shiny red, yellow, and green bell peppers stretched across the garden. Zika parked the tractor neatly and began picking only the ripe peppers, placing them gently into large baskets. Every basket was loaded onto the JCB trailer with great care so none of the vegetables were damaged.
As the morning continued, birds sang happily while butterflies danced among the flowers. Dad praised Zika for working patiently and safely. Before long, the trailer was completely full of colorful bell peppers, ready to be taken back to the farmhouse.
Mom welcomed them with a big smile. Together, the family washed the fresh peppers and sliced them into thin strips. Mom added carrots, onions, garlic, and tender noodles into a hot pan. Finally, the sweet bell peppers were tossed in, filling the kitchen with a delicious aroma.
Zika eagerly helped stir everything with a wooden spoon while Dad prepared fresh fruit juice for everyone. Soon, the steaming plates of stir-fried noodles were ready. The bright bell peppers made the meal look beautiful and tasted wonderfully sweet and crunchy.
The whole family gathered around the table, thankful for the successful harvest. Dad reminded Zika that working hard as a team makes every meal even more enjoyable. Zika smiled proudly, knowing that driving the JCB tractor responsibly and helping harvest the vegetables had made lunch extra special.
