The sun had just risen when smart monkey Zika put on his tiny farmer’s hat and climbed into his bright yellow JCB tractor. Today was an exciting day because the tomato field was full of ripe, red tomatoes ready for harvest. With a big smile, Zika carefully started the engine and slowly drove toward the garden.
The rows of tomato plants stretched across the field, loaded with juicy fruit. Zika used the tractor to pull a small harvesting trailer while he and his family picked the tomatoes by hand. They gently placed each tomato into baskets to keep them fresh and free from bruises.
By midday, the trailer was nearly full. Everyone was happy with the excellent harvest, and Zika proudly drove the tractor toward the farm gate.
Suddenly, the sky grew dark.
A heavy rainstorm arrived much faster than anyone expected. Within minutes, the dry field turned into slippery mud. As Zika carefully drove forward, the tractor’s rear wheels spun helplessly before sinking deep into the soft ground.
“Oh no!” Zika exclaimed.
He gently pressed the accelerator, but the tractor only sank deeper. The trailer full of tomatoes was too heavy to move.
Instead of panicking, Zika remembered what his dad had taught him. He unloaded several baskets of tomatoes to reduce the weight, then gathered wooden planks and placed them beneath the tractor’s tires to create better traction.
Dad arrived with a strong tow rope and another farm vehicle. Working together, they slowly pulled the JCB tractor free from the muddy field without damaging the precious harvest.
Soon the rain stopped, and a rainbow appeared across the sky. Zika happily reloaded the tomatoes and safely drove them back to the farm.
That evening, the family sorted the fresh tomatoes into boxes for the local market. Although the unexpected rain had delayed their work, they didn’t lose a single basket of tomatoes.
Zika smiled proudly as he looked over the successful harvest. He learned that unexpected problems can happen at any time, but staying calm, thinking carefully, and working together will always help overcome even the biggest challenges.
