So Funny! CUTIS & Yen Nhi Misunderstand Mom Pregnant

It was a peaceful afternoon when CUTIS and little Yen Nhi noticed something unusual about their mom. She was gently holding her tummy while resting on the couch after finishing all the housework. Curious as always, the two children exchanged puzzled looks and quietly whispered to each other.

“Do you think Mom has a baby in her tummy?” CUTIS asked with wide eyes.

Yen Nhi gasped in surprise. “Really? Are we going to have a little brother or sister?”

The pair became more excited with every passing minute. Without asking Mom, they started making their own funny plans. CUTIS searched the house for an old baby blanket, while Yen Nhi carefully picked out her favorite stuffed teddy bear as a “welcome gift” for the imaginary baby. They even argued over what the baby’s name should be and who would get to teach the baby how to play first.

Mom noticed them running around the house carrying baby items and couldn’t help but wonder what was happening. Before she could ask, CUTIS proudly walked over and gently placed the blanket beside her.

“Don’t worry, Mom,” he said with a big smile. “We’ll help take care of the baby!”

Mom looked completely confused. “What baby?”

Yen Nhi hugged Mom carefully and whispered, “The baby in your tummy!”

For a moment, Mom was speechless. Then she burst into laughter so hard that tears nearly came to her eyes. She lovingly hugged both children and explained that she wasn’t expecting a baby at all. She had simply eaten a very large lunch and was resting because she felt full.

CUTIS and Yen Nhi froze in surprise before looking at each other. Their cheeks turned bright red with embarrassment, and then all three of them started laughing together. The misunderstanding had created one of the funniest moments the family had ever shared.

To celebrate the silly mistake, Mom invited everyone into the kitchen to make fresh fruit smoothies. As they laughed about the day’s adventure, CUTIS joked that next time he would ask questions before making big plans, while Yen Nhi promised not to believe every little guess.

Although there was no new baby on the way, the afternoon was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable family memories. Sometimes the funniest stories begin with the sweetest misunderstandings, reminding everyone that honest conversations—and plenty of laughter—bring families even closer together.
