No… It’s Mine! Monkey Lyly Refused to Give the Teddy Bear Back to Dung Because She Liked It Too Much

It all started on a bright and cheerful afternoon when Dung brought over his favorite fluffy teddy bear to share during playtime. The moment Monkey Lyly saw it, her eyes lit up like sparkling stars. The teddy bear was soft, round, and wore a tiny blue ribbon around its neck. It looked so cuddly that Lyly couldn’t resist picking it up.

At first, Dung happily let her hold it. They sat side by side on the floor, laughing and pretending the teddy bear was going on an adventure through a magical jungle. Lyly hugged it tightly, rocking it gently as if it were her own baby. The more she held it, the more attached she became.

When it was time to go home, Dung reached out his hands and said softly, “Lyly, can I have my teddy bear back now?”

Lyly froze. She looked down at the teddy bear, then back at Dung. Her little arms tightened around it. She shook her head quickly. “No… it’s mine!” she said, her voice small but firm.

Dung blinked in surprise. “But it’s my teddy,” he replied, sounding a little sad.

Lyly pouted. She loved how soft it felt and how it smelled like fresh laundry. In her heart, she didn’t want to let it go. She hugged it even tighter and turned away slightly, as if that would make the problem disappear.

Seeing the situation, Mom gently came over and knelt beside them. She smiled warmly and spoke in a calm voice. “Lyly, it’s wonderful that you love the teddy bear. But remember, it belongs to Dung. Sharing means enjoying something for a while and then kindly giving it back.”

Lyly’s eyes began to water as she looked at Dung’s disappointed face. Slowly, she realized how she would feel if someone refused to return her favorite toy. After a quiet moment, she sighed and held the teddy bear out.

“Okay… here,” she whispered.

Dung smiled again, and Lyly felt proud of herself. She learned that day that sharing — even when it’s hard — makes friendships stronger and hearts happier.
