For little Abu, every day feels brighter when his beloved mom is by his side. They spend their mornings exploring the garden, picking ripe fruit, and playing together under the warm sunshine. But on this special day, Mom had to leave home for a while to gather food and visit a neighboring family, leaving Abu in Dad’s care.
Although Dad did his best to keep Abu entertained, the little monkey couldn’t stop thinking about his mother. He sat quietly by the front gate, clutching his favorite stuffed toy and watching the path that led into the forest. Every rustling leaf made him think Mom was finally coming home.

Without hesitation, Abu ran as fast as his little legs could carry him. He leaped into his mother’s arms and wrapped her in the biggest, tightest hug. His joyful laughter filled the air, and happy tears sparkled in his eyes. Mom hugged him back just as tightly, gently stroking his soft fur and whispering, “I missed you so much, my precious little one.”
Dad smiled as he watched the heartwarming reunion. Seeing the happiness on Abu’s face reminded him how strong the bond between a mother and her child truly is. The family gathered together to enjoy a delicious meal, sharing stories and laughter as the evening sky turned golden.
Before bedtime, Abu refused to let go of Mom’s hand. He cuddled beside her, feeling safe, loved, and completely at peace. Mom kissed his forehead and promised that no matter where she went, she would always come back home to him.
