LYLY Invited All Her Friends and Mom to Enjoy Afternoon Tea in the Corner of the Yard

The warm afternoon sunshine filled the backyard with a gentle golden glow as little Monkey LYLY hurried around with excitement. She had spent the entire morning preparing a special surprise. Today, she wanted to host her very first afternoon tea party in her favorite corner of the yard, where colorful flowers bloomed and a large mango tree provided cool shade.

LYLY carefully spread a bright picnic blanket on the soft grass and decorated the area with tiny flower bouquets she had picked with Mom’s permission. She placed little wooden stools around a small table and arranged fresh bananas, sliced watermelon, sweet mangoes, and homemade banana muffins on colorful plates. A pot of warm herbal tea and fresh fruit juice completed the cheerful setup.

One by one, LYLY’s friends arrived, each carrying a small treat to share. Some brought juicy oranges, while others carried freshly baked cookies and tiny fruit pies. Everyone admired how cozy and beautiful the little tea corner looked.

When Mom walked into the yard, she smiled in surprise. “What a lovely party you’ve planned, LYLY!”

Grinning from ear to ear, LYLY gently took Mom’s hand and led her to the best seat beneath the mango tree. “This seat is especially for you,” she said happily. “Thank you for always taking care of me.”

Mom’s heart melted with happiness as she hugged LYLY tightly.

The friends spent the afternoon laughing, telling funny stories, and playing simple games between sips of tea and bites of delicious treats. Butterflies fluttered among the flowers while a cool breeze made the leaves dance overhead. The peaceful corner of the yard felt like a magical little cafรฉ surrounded by nature.

Later, LYLY organized a small gratitude game. Everyone took turns saying something kind about another friend or thanking someone for a helpful deed. The kind words filled the garden with even more warmth than the afternoon sunshine.

As the sun slowly began to set, the guests helped clear the table, fold the blanket, and tidy the yard together. Mom smiled proudly as she watched everyone work as a team.

That evening, LYLY realized the happiest gatherings aren’t about fancy decorations or expensive treats. They’re about sharing kindness, laughter, delicious food, and precious moments with the people you love. The little tea party became a beautiful memory that everyone hoped to enjoy again very soon.
