One bright morning, Detective CUTIS walked outside, ready to start his day with his usual confidence and style. As always, he planned to take his shiny supercar for a quick ride around the neighborhood before beginning his detective work. But when he reached the driveway, something shocking happened.
The supercar was gone.
CUTIS froze for a moment, blinking in disbelief. He looked left, then right, then rubbed his eyes as if hoping the car would magically reappear. But no matter how many times he looked, the driveway was empty.
“My supercar has been stolen!” CUTIS exclaimed dramatically.
Hearing the noise, Buem quickly ran outside. “What happened?” he asked, looking confused.
“My supercar! It was right here last night!” CUTIS said, pointing at the empty spot like a serious detective discovering a major crime scene.
Determined to solve the mystery, Detective CUTIS immediately went into investigation mode. He squatted down and carefully examined the ground, pretending to search for clues just like a professional detective in the movies. Buem watched with wide eyes as CUTIS inspected every tiny detail.
“Hmm… interesting,” CUTIS said, stroking his chin thoughtfully. “There are no tire marks. This means the thief must be very clever.”
Just then, Mom walked outside holding her phone, trying not to laugh. “CUTIS,” she said gently, “did you check the garage?”
CUTIS paused. The garage?
Everyone slowly turned their heads toward the garage door. Buem ran over and opened it.
And there it was.
The supercar was sitting safely inside.
CUTIS blinked again, realizing what had happened. The night before, Dad had simply parked the car in the garage to keep it safe, but no one had told CUTIS.
For a moment, the young detective stood silently, processing the situation. Then Buem burst out laughing.
“So… the thief was Dad?” Buem joked.
Mom couldn’t stop laughing either, and even CUTIS finally smiled at the funny mistake.
“Well,” CUTIS said proudly, trying to keep his detective dignity, “this case is officially solved!”
Even though the mystery turned out to be a misunderstanding, it became one of the funniest detective stories in CUTIS’s adventures. 🚗🕵️♂️✨
