One bright morning, CUTIS and Buem noticed that Mom looked a little tired. She had been working hard all week, cooking meals, cleaning the house, and taking care of everyone. Even though she smiled warmly, the two little friends could tell she needed some extra care. CUTIS whispered to Buem, “Mom always takes care of us. Maybe today we should do something special for her.”
Buem’s eyes lit up with excitement. “That’s a great idea! Let’s buy some nutritious food so Mom can regain her energy,” he said. The problem was that Mom had asked them to stay home while she rested. After thinking for a moment, the two decided to quietly sneak out to the nearby market and surprise her.
They carefully walked down the small path leading to the market, trying not to make too much noise. Along the way, they talked about what healthy foods Mom might like. CUTIS suggested fresh fruits, while Buem thought vegetables and milk would be perfect. When they reached the market, the colorful stalls were filled with fresh produce and friendly vendors.
CUTIS picked bright red apples and sweet bananas, saying, “Fruits are full of vitamins. Mom will definitely feel stronger after eating these.” Meanwhile, Buem chose carrots, broccoli, and a bottle of fresh milk. The vendor smiled at their thoughtful choices and even gave them a small discount after hearing their sweet plan to help Mom.
With their bags full of healthy food, the two hurried back home. They were nervous that Mom might wake up and notice they were gone, but luckily they arrived just in time. Quietly, they placed the fruits and vegetables on the kitchen table and prepared a small, colorful fruit plate for Mom.
When Mom woke up and saw the surprise, her eyes filled with happy tears. She hugged CUTIS and Buem tightly. “Thank you, my sweet kids,” she said. “Your love is the most nutritious thing for my heart.”
CUTIS and Buem laughed happily. Their little adventure had not only brought healthy food home, but it also showed Mom just how much they loved and appreciated her.
