One sunny morning, Lily woke up feeling full of energy. She stretched her little arms, looked around the house, and suddenly noticed something surprising.
The living room was messy!
Toys were scattered across the floor, pillows were out of place, and Dad was standing in the middle of the room with a broom in his hand.
“Oh my!” Lily said. “Dad, the house looks like a big storm came inside!”
Dad laughed. “I was just thinking the same thing. I have a lot of cleaning to do today.”
Lily’s eyes suddenly sparkled.
“Don’t worry, Dad!” she shouted. “Super Lily is here to save the day!”
She quickly ran to her room and came back wearing a little towel around her shoulders like a superhero cape.
Dad smiled. “Super Lily? Do you think you can help me?”
“Of course!” Lily proudly replied. “No mess is too big for me!”
Dad gave Lily a small cloth, and together they began cleaning the house. Dad swept the floor while Lily carefully wiped the table. She worked very seriously, but soon she accidentally knocked over a small basket.
All the toys rolled across the floor again!
“Oh no!” Lily cried.
Dad looked at the mess and started laughing.
Lily crossed her arms. “This is not funny! Super Lily is having a difficult mission!”
Dad helped her pick up the toys, and Lily soon began laughing too.
Next, they cleaned the windows. Lily stood on a small, safe stool while Dad stayed beside her. She wiped the glass carefully until it became shiny.
“Look, Dad! I can see my reflection!”
“You did a wonderful job,” Dad said proudly.
After that, Lily helped fold the blankets, put the pillows back on the sofa, and organize her toys neatly in their basket. Slowly, the messy house became clean and comfortable again.
Finally, Lily stood in the middle of the living room with her hands on her hips.
“Mission complete!” she announced.
Dad clapped and gave her a big hug. “Thank you, Super Lily. I couldn’t have done it so quickly without you.”
Lily smiled proudly. “Helping Dad makes me happy!”
That evening, they sat together in their clean and cozy home. Lily learned that even small hands could do big things when they helped with love.
And from that day on, whenever Dad had a cleaning mission, Super Lily was always ready to save the day!
