It was a peaceful morning at home, and everything seemed perfectly normal. Mom was preparing breakfast while Abu was busy arranging things around the house. They usually worked together happily, but that morning, something unexpectedly went wrong.
Mom noticed that several things she had carefully prepared were no longer where she had left them.
“Abu, did you move these?” she asked.
Abu looked surprised.
“No, Mom. I didn’t touch them.”
Mom became confused. She had been working hard since early morning, and now she was worried that something important had been misplaced.
“I just want you to be more careful,” Mom said.
Abu felt misunderstood.
“But I really didn’t do it!”
His voice became louder, and Mom’s expression changed. Before long, the two were having an argument that nobody expected.
The room suddenly became quiet.
Abu turned away, looking frustrated. Mom continued preparing breakfast, but she was clearly upset too.
Neither of them wanted to argue. They simply couldn’t understand what had happened.
Then, just as things seemed tense, Mom noticed something moving near the table.
It was Baby Monkey!
The little one had been quietly playing nearby. In his tiny hands was one of the items Mom had been looking for.
Mom looked at Abu.
Abu looked at Baby Monkey.
Suddenly, everything became clear.
Baby Monkey had been moving the items around while playing!
Mom couldn’t help but laugh.
“So that’s what happened!”
Abu’s serious expression disappeared, and he started laughing too.
Baby Monkey looked at both of them innocently, seemingly unaware that his little adventure had caused such a big misunderstanding.
Mom walked over to Abu and gently apologized.
“I’m sorry I blamed you,” she said.
Abu smiled and replied, “It’s okay, Mom. I should have stayed calm too.”
The tension disappeared almost instantly.
Mom then picked up Baby Monkey and gave him a gentle hug.
“You caused quite an argument today, little troublemaker!”
Baby Monkey simply giggled.
Soon, Abu and Mom were working together again, putting everything back where it belonged. What had started as an unexpected argument ended with laughter and a valuable lesson.
Sometimes, people can become upset when they don’t know the whole story. But instead of staying angry, talking calmly and finding the truth can make everything better.
By lunchtime, Abu and Mom were smiling again—and Baby Monkey was already looking for his next little adventure.
