It was a peaceful afternoon on the farm, and Baby Yen Nhu was happily playing near the house while Mom prepared some food. Baby Monkey CUTIS was nearby, watching everything with his usual curious eyes. He loved following Yen Nhu everywhere, especially when there was something exciting happening.
Yen Nhu was wearing her favorite little shirt that day. She walked around the yard, carrying a small toy and smiling. CUTIS became interested in the shirt because a loose piece of fabric was hanging from the side.
CUTIS slowly crawled closer.
Curious, he reached out and grabbed the fabric.
“CUTIS, what are you doing?” Mom called from the kitchen.
Before anyone could stop him, CUTIS pulled hard!

A small tear appeared in Yen Nhu’s shirt.
Yen Nhu looked down at the damaged shirt and froze. Her eyes became wide, and she looked at CUTIS in surprise.
“Uh-oh!” Dad said as he hurried over.
CUTIS immediately realized something was wrong. He released the shirt and stared at Yen Nhu with a worried expression. Instead of running away, he slowly moved closer, as if he wanted to apologize.
Mom came outside and inspected the tear. At first, she looked surprised, but then something unexpected happened.
Yen Nhu gently patted CUTIS on the head.
“It’s okay,” she said sweetly.
CUTIS looked relieved. He reached out and hugged Yen Nhu’s arm.
Mom and Dad exchanged surprised looks. They expected Yen Nhu to be upset, but instead, she seemed more concerned about CUTIS feeling guilty than about her torn shirt.
Then CUTIS did something that made everyone laugh.
He picked up a small piece of cloth that had fallen from the shirt and carefully brought it to Mom!
Dad burst out laughing.
“Look! He knows he caused the problem!”
Mom smiled and gave CUTIS a gentle hug.
Later, Dad repaired Yen Nhu’s shirt while Mom kept an eye on the two little troublemakers. CUTIS stayed unusually quiet, sitting beside Yen Nhu as if he were helping.
By sunset, the little accident had become a funny family memory.
Mom and Dad learned that even when CUTIS caused a little trouble, his innocent and loving heart always found a way to surprise them. 🥰🐒❤️
