One bright morning, CUTIS woke up with a very funny idea. He wanted to help his family earn a little extra money, so he decided to go to the local market and sell tissues.
After carefully arranging several packs of tissues on a small table, CUTIS sat proudly behind his little stall. He even made a handwritten sign that said, “Fresh Tissues! Very Soft! Best Price!”
At first, nobody seemed interested.
CUTIS looked around and wondered what he could do to attract customers. Then he picked up a tissue and dramatically wiped his face.
“Wow! So soft!” he seemed to say.
A woman nearby noticed CUTIS and started laughing. She came over and bought one pack.
Then another customer arrived.
Then another.
Within minutes, a small crowd gathered around CUTIS’s stall!
Everyone wanted to buy his tissues.
CUTIS couldn’t believe his eyes. He quickly grabbed another pack and handed it to a customer. But suddenly, two customers reached for the same pack at the same time.
“Me first!”
“No, I saw it first!”
CUTIS looked completely confused.
Soon, everyone started laughing and joking as they tried to get their hands on the tissues. Some customers even began calling their friends to tell them about the adorable little tissue seller at the market.
CUTIS became busier and busier. He kept passing tissues to customers while trying his best to collect the money.
At one point, he became so overwhelmed that he accidentally handed a customer an empty plastic bag instead of tissues!
Everyone burst into laughter.
CUTIS quickly realized his mistake and replaced it with a real pack.
By lunchtime, every single pack of tissues had been sold!
CUTIS proudly counted the money and smiled from ear to ear. He had never expected his little market business to become such a huge success.
When he returned home, his family was amazed.
CUTIS proudly showed them the empty basket and the money he had earned.
His mother hugged him and praised his hard work.
CUTIS smiled proudly, already thinking about his next business adventure.
