Early one beautiful morning, Mom was busy in the kitchen preparing something special. The sweet smell of freshly baked cake filled the little house, making everyone curious about what she was making.
Today, Mom had decided to bake a healthy herbal cake using fresh ingredients she had carefully collected. She mixed flour with bananas, a little honey, and a small amount of fragrant edible herbs. The kitchen quickly became filled with a wonderful aroma.
Baby Monkey was playing nearby when he suddenly stopped.
His little nose twitched.
“Hmm… What smells so good?” he wondered.
He hurried into the kitchen and peeked over the table. There, sitting inside a warm baking tray, was a beautiful golden cake!
Baby Monkey’s eyes became huge with excitement. He climbed onto a small chair and stretched his neck, hoping to get a closer look.
“Not yet, little one,” Mom laughed. “The cake is still hot. You have to wait.”
Baby Monkey looked disappointed, but he obediently climbed down. However, he couldn’t stop thinking about the cake.
He sat near the kitchen door, watching Mom carefully. Every few minutes, he would sneak another peek at the cake.
Finally, Mom took the cake out and placed it on the table to cool.
Baby Monkey slowly approached.
“Can I taste it now?” his expression seemed to ask.
Mom smiled and waited until the cake had cooled enough. Then she carefully cut a tiny piece and handed it to him.
Baby Monkey took one bite.
His eyes immediately lit up!
“Mmm!” He happily chewed the soft, sweet cake and looked at Mom with a huge smile.
Mom laughed when she saw how quickly he finished his piece.
“Do you like it?”
Baby Monkey nodded enthusiastically and pointed toward the cake, asking for another piece.
Mom gave him another small serving, reminding him to eat slowly.
Baby Monkey enjoyed every bite. He was especially happy because the cake had been made with love and healthy ingredients.
After finishing, he gave Mom a big hug.
Mom hugged him back and smiled.
