Monkey Lyly was having a wonderful afternoon playing outside with her mother. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and Lyly was happily running around the yard, chasing butterflies and playing with her favorite toys.
After a while, Lyly suddenly stopped.
“Oh no!” she thought. “I need to go to the bathroom!”
Lyly quickly turned around and rushed toward the house. She knew the bathroom was waiting for her, but there was one problem—she had been playing for so long that she had waited a little too late!
“Mom! I need to go home!” Lyly called as she hurried along.
Her mother noticed Lyly running as fast as she could and followed behind her. “Slow down, Lyly! Be careful!” Mom said.
But Lyly was determined to reach the bathroom.
She hurried through the yard, climbed up the steps, and ran toward the house. Just as she was getting close, she suddenly stopped and looked embarrassed.
“Oh no…” Lyly whispered.
She realized that she had accidentally pooped in her diaper because she had waited too long while playing outside.
Lyly looked at her mother with a worried expression. For a moment, she didn’t know what to say.
Instead of getting angry, Mom gently smiled and gave Lyly a comforting hug.
“It’s okay, sweetheart. Accidents can happen,” Mom said. “Next time, just tell me as soon as you need to go.”
Lyly nodded, feeling much better.
Mom helped her clean up and change into a fresh diaper and clothes. Afterward, Lyly looked at herself and giggled.
“I think I should listen to my tummy next time!” she said.
Mom laughed. “That sounds like a very good plan!”
After everything was cleaned up, Lyly went back outside. But this time, she kept one important thing in mind: whenever she felt like she needed the bathroom, she wouldn’t wait.
A little later, Lyly was playing again when she suddenly heard her tummy rumble.
She stopped immediately.
“Bathroom time!” Lyly announced proudly.
Mom smiled as Lyly hurried toward the house—this time with plenty of time to spare.
It had been a funny little accident, but Lyly had learned an important lesson: when nature calls, don’t wait too long! 🐒😂❤️
