Monkey Lyly was having such an exciting morning. She had just finished helping her mother around the house and was finally ready to relax. Lyly picked up her favorite phone, sat comfortably in her little chair, and happily opened it to watch her favorite videos.
But suddenly, something unexpected happened.
The screen went black!
Lyly stared at the phone in confusion. She pressed the button again and again, but nothing happened. She looked at the battery icon and realized there was no battery left.
Lyly became extremely disappointed. She carefully shook the phone as if that could somehow bring it back to life. Then she tried pressing the power button several more times. Still nothing!
Her sad expression made her mother laugh softly. Mom told Lyly that the phone simply needed to be charged and that she would have to wait patiently.
But Lyly didn’t want to wait. She carried the phone around the house, hoping to find a magical way to turn it on. She even tried plugging the charger into the wrong side before her mother gently helped her.
Finally, Lyly placed the phone beside the charger and sat down with a disappointed face. She looked at the dark screen as if she had lost her best friend.
Seeing Lyly so sad, Mom came up with a wonderful idea. Instead of letting Lyly spend the whole afternoon waiting for her phone, she invited her outside to enjoy some fresh air.
At first, Lyly wasn’t interested. But Mom brought out some delicious fruit and started playing with her. Soon, Lyly completely forgot about the phone!
They played together, picked flowers, and enjoyed a funny little snack time. Lyly laughed so much that her disappointment slowly disappeared.
After a while, Mom checked the phone and discovered that it had finally charged enough to turn on.
Lyly’s eyes immediately became wide with excitement!
She ran over, picked up the phone, and pressed the power button. The screen lit up again.
But surprisingly, Lyly didn’t immediately start watching videos. Instead, she hugged Mom and smiled.
She had discovered something more important than a fully charged phone—spending happy moments with her mother was even better!
And that became the sweetest ending to Lyly’s unexpected phone trouble.
