One beautiful morning, Monkey Abu followed his mother to the farm and noticed that she had an important job to do. Mom wanted to plant several young trees around the farm to make the land greener and provide shade in the future.
Abu was immediately curious. He watched Mom gather the small trees, gardening tools, and buckets of water. Instead of running off to play, Abu decided that he wanted to help.
Mom first showed Abu how to dig a small hole in the soft soil. Abu carefully picked up the digging tool and tried to copy her. At first, he struggled because the soil was harder than he expected. He stopped, looked at Mom, and tried again. Soon, Abu managed to make a perfect little hole!
Mom smiled proudly and encouraged him to continue.
Abu then helped carry the young trees to different spots around the farm. Some trees were a little heavy, so he carefully dragged them across the ground while Mom followed behind. Whenever Mom pointed to a new planting spot, Abu quickly brought another tree.
After placing a tree into each hole, Mom gently covered the roots with soil. Abu copied her and used his little hands to push the soil around the plants. He looked extremely serious while doing his important farm work, making Mom laugh.
But Abu’s job was not finished yet.
Mom handed him a bucket of water and asked him to help water the newly planted trees. Abu carried the bucket carefully from one tree to another. Sometimes he spilled a little water along the way, but he never gave up.
After several hours, all the trees had been planted and watered. Abu stood beside Mom and looked proudly at their work. The farm looked greener already, and Mom hugged Abu to thank him for being such a smart and helpful little helper.
Abu was tired but happy. He had learned that even a small monkey could make a big difference when he helped someone he loved.
Mom reminded Abu that trees needed patience, water, and care to grow strong. Abu nodded and seemed determined to visit the trees every day.
Together, Abu and Mom walked home with happy hearts, dreaming about the beautiful green farm their little trees would become one day. 🌱🐒❤️
