It was a quiet afternoon, and Baby Monkey Ri Ri was enjoying a peaceful day at home with his family. The house was calm, the garden was bright with sunshine, and Ri Ri was happily playing with his favorite toys.
Suddenly, he heard a strange sound outside.
Ri Ri stopped playing and listened carefully.
Someone was walking toward the house.
At first, Ri Ri thought it might be a family member coming home. But when he looked through the window, he noticed a stranger standing near the front door.
The stranger tried to open the door.
Ri Ri immediately became alert.
Instead of going closer to the door, the clever little monkey quickly moved away and looked for his mother. He made loud warning sounds to get her attention.
βMom! Something is wrong!β his actions seemed to say.
Mother heard Ri Ri and quickly came to see what was happening. When she noticed the stranger outside, she understood why Ri Ri had become frightened.
Ri Ri stayed close to his mother while she calmly secured the doors and windows.
The stranger knocked several times, but nobody opened the door.
Ri Ri continued watching from a safe distance. He did not try to confront the stranger. Instead, he stayed beside his mother and continued making sounds whenever the person came near the entrance.
Mother praised Ri Ri for being observant.
βYou did the right thing, Ri Ri. You stayed safe and warned me,β she said.
After a few moments, the stranger finally walked away from the house.
Mother waited until everything was quiet again before checking the surroundings from inside.
Ri Ri slowly relaxed and returned to his toys.
His family was amazed by how quickly he had noticed something unusual.
That evening, Mother gave Ri Ri a big hug.
βYou may be small, but you have a very smart and careful heart,β she told him.
Ri Ri happily cuddled beside her.
The experience taught everyone an important lesson: when something feels unfamiliar or unsafe, it is better to stay inside, alert a trusted adult, and never confront a stranger.
Baby Monkey Ri Ri had not used strength or bravery to solve the situation. Instead, he had used something even more importantβawareness, quick thinking, and good judgment.
And from that day on, his family knew they could always count on their clever little monkey to notice when something wasn’t right.
