Monkey Lyly loves helping her mother with household chores. Whenever her mother starts cleaning, Lyly happily follows along and tries to do whatever she can to help. Even though she can sometimes become distracted by interesting things around her, she always wants to be a good little helper.
One morning, Lyly’s mother decided to clean the entire house. She gathered the cleaning supplies and began organizing the rooms. Lyly quickly joined her, picking up small objects, moving things into their proper places, and helping wipe dusty areas.
After finishing some of the indoor cleaning, Lyly followed her mother outside to clean the yard. Her mother asked her to help wash the dirty area near the house. Lyly happily picked up the water hose and began spraying water over the ground.
She carefully washed away the dirt and leaves that had gathered around the yard. Lyly seemed very proud of herself because she felt like she was doing an important job. She moved around the yard with the hose, making sure every dirty spot was cleaned.
But after a while, Lyly became distracted. She noticed something interesting nearby and walked away from the hose for a moment. Unfortunately, she completely forgot to turn off the water.
The hose continued running while Lyly went about her business. Water began spreading across the yard, and Lyly’s mother soon heard the sound of water flowing. She looked outside and immediately noticed what had happened.
Lyly suddenly realized her mistake and rushed back to turn off the tap. She looked at her mother with an embarrassed expression, knowing that she had forgotten an important part of her cleaning job.
Her mother calmly explained that wasting water was not a good habit and reminded Lyly to always check the tap after using the hose. Lyly listened carefully and promised to remember next time.
She then helped her mother clean up the extra water around the yard. After everything was finished, Lyly felt proud that she had corrected her mistake.
Although it was only a small accident, Lyly learned an important lesson about being responsible. From that day forward, whenever she helped her mother clean, she made sure to check the water carefully before walking away. Her mother was happy to see Lyly becoming more careful and responsible each day.
