Monkey Lyly was enjoying a wonderful day at home when her mother brought out a big, delicious jackfruit. The sweet smell immediately filled the air, and Lyly came running over to see what Mom had prepared. Her eyes became wide with excitement when she saw the golden pieces of jackfruit waiting on the plate.
“Wow! Jackfruit!” Lyly seemed to say as she happily looked at the tasty treat.
Mom carefully opened the jackfruit and removed the sticky pieces, placing the soft yellow fruit on a clean plate. Lyly watched closely, waiting for her chance to enjoy it. However, there was one little problem—Lyly had already eaten a big meal!
Earlier that day, she had enjoyed plenty of delicious food. She had eaten rice, vegetables, fruit, and some of her favorite snacks. Her tummy was already very full, but the sweet smell of jackfruit made her curious.
Lyly picked up one piece and brought it toward her mouth. She took a tiny bite, but after chewing for a moment, she stopped. Her little belly was simply too full!
Mom noticed Lyly’s funny expression and laughed gently. Lyly looked at the plate of jackfruit and then rubbed her tummy. She clearly wanted to eat more, but she just couldn’t fit another bite.
Still, Lyly wasn’t ready to give up. She stared at the jackfruit, smelled another piece, and even tried taking a very small bite. But once again, her full tummy told her it was time to stop.
Mom encouraged Lyly not to force herself to eat. She explained that delicious food would still be there later when she was hungry again. Lyly seemed to understand and decided to rest instead.
She sat beside Mom and watched the jackfruit plate from a safe distance. Every now and then, she glanced at it with a funny expression, as if she were trying to convince her tummy to make more room.
Finally, Lyly became comfortable and relaxed after her big meal. Mom saved some jackfruit for later, and Lyly happily cuddled beside her.
It was a funny and adorable reminder that even when your favorite food is right in front of you, sometimes your tummy simply says, “No more!” Lyly would just have to wait until she was hungry again to enjoy the delicious jackfruit.
