Monkey Bobo was having a quiet afternoon at home when Mom prepared a delicious meat dish for the family. The wonderful smell quickly spread through the kitchen, and Bobo immediately became curious. He peeked around the corner and watched Mom carefully arrange the freshly cooked food on the table.
Mom noticed Bobo looking at the dish and told him to wait until everything was ready. Bobo nodded innocently, but his eyes remained fixed on the tasty-looking meat. He had never seen the dish prepared that way before, and his curiosity grew stronger with every passing minute.
When Mom briefly left the kitchen, Bobo saw his opportunity. He slowly walked toward the table and looked around to make sure nobody was watching. Then, with a mischievous little smile, he secretly grabbed a small piece of meat and quickly ate it.
Bobo loved the taste! He looked delighted and immediately wanted another bite. He quietly took another small piece before running back to his hiding place. He tried to look completely innocent, hoping Mom would never discover his little secret.
A few minutes later, Mom returned to the kitchen and noticed something strange. She had clearly prepared more meat than what was now on the plate. Mom looked at the dish, then looked around the room with a confused expression.
“Where did the meat go?” she wondered.
Mom checked the table and even looked around the kitchen. She couldn’t understand how several pieces had disappeared so quickly. Meanwhile, Bobo sat nearby, trying his best to act normal. But his guilty expression and full cheeks made it difficult for him to hide what he had done.
Mom eventually looked at Bobo and became suspicious. Bobo avoided eye contact and tried to look away. Mom smiled because she suddenly realized what had happened.
“Bobo, did you secretly eat the meat?” she asked.
Bobo gave a shy little reaction that immediately gave him away. Mom couldn’t help laughing at his funny behavior. She reminded him that he should always ask before taking food from the table.
Bobo seemed to understand and promised to wait next time. Mom then gave him an appropriate portion so he could enjoy the meal properly.
