One peaceful morning, Dad was busy taking care of things around the house when he suddenly noticed something unusual about Baby Monkey Ri Ri. Normally, Ri Ri was full of energy, running around, playing with toys, and following Dad everywhere. But that morning, she was lying completely still in her little resting spot.
Dad immediately became worried.
“Ri Ri? Are you okay?” he asked gently.
Ri Ri didn’t move. Dad carefully came closer and called her name again. Seeing his little girl so quiet made him extremely nervous. He gently checked on her and tried to get her attention, but Ri Ri continued lying still.
Dad began wondering what could be wrong. He remembered how playful Ri Ri usually was, so seeing her unusually quiet frightened him. He stayed right beside her and watched carefully for any response.
After a few moments, Dad gently touched her shoulder. Ri Ri finally opened her eyes and looked at him.
Dad felt a little relieved, but he was still concerned. He asked Ri Ri if she was feeling tired or uncomfortable. Ri Ri slowly moved and gave her father a sleepy expression.
Dad decided to make the room comfortable and quiet. He brought Ri Ri some fresh water and made sure she was resting safely. He stayed close instead of leaving her alone.
As Dad continued watching over her, Ri Ri suddenly gave a tiny smile. Then she stretched her arms and legs before sitting up.
Dad’s worried expression immediately changed into relief.
“Ri Ri! You scared me!” he said affectionately.
Ri Ri looked at her father as if she didn’t understand why he had been so worried. Then she slowly walked over and cuddled beside him.
Dad realized that Ri Ri had simply been deeply asleep and unusually tired that morning. He gently hugged her and reminded her that she should always let him know if she wasn’t feeling well.
Soon, Ri Ri was back to her playful self. She picked up one of her favorite toys and began moving around the room. Dad laughed happily as he watched her energy return.
The scary moment ended with a sweet father-daughter cuddle. Dad was grateful that Ri Ri was okay, and Ri Ri seemed happy to have her loving father nearby.
