One cloudy morning, baby monkey LUK woke up and heard the sound of raindrops falling on the roof. She looked outside and saw the garden covered with tiny puddles. Although the weather was gloomy, LUK had a special plan in her little mind. She wanted to follow her dad to the market and help him buy some delicious food for the family!
When Dad prepared his shopping bag and got ready to leave, LUK quietly watched him from the doorway. She quickly grabbed her little raincoat and hurried after him. At first, Dad didn’t notice that his adorable daughter was following him. LUK carefully walked behind him, trying not to get left behind on the wet path.
Suddenly, Dad turned around and was surprised to see LUK standing there with her raincoat on. She looked up at him with innocent eyes, as if asking, “Dad, can I come with you today?”
Dad smiled at her determination but worried that the rainy weather might make her uncomfortable. He gently checked her raincoat and made sure she was protected from the rain. After seeing how excited she was, he decided to let her accompany him on the short trip.
Together, they walked toward the market, carefully avoiding the slippery puddles along the way. LUK found the raindrops fascinating. Sometimes she stopped to watch the water splash beneath her tiny feet, making Dad laugh at her playful behavior.
When they finally arrived at the market, LUK was amazed by all the colorful fruits and fresh vegetables. She followed Dad from one stall to another, watching him choose bananas, apples, and other ingredients for their meals.
Then LUK remembered her special plan! She pointed excitedly toward a beautiful bunch of bananas and gently pulled Dad’s hand to show him her favorite fruit. Dad laughed and added some bananas to the shopping bag, knowing that his little helper would be delighted.
After finishing their shopping, Dad and LUK headed home together. Although the rain was still falling, they felt happy spending time with each other.
Back at home, Mom welcomed them warmly and helped unpack the groceries. LUK proudly showed her the bananas she had helped choose.
That rainy day became a wonderful memory for the little monkey. LUK learned that even an ordinary trip to the market could become a special adventure when shared with someone you love.
