One beautiful morning, Monkey Lyly was happily playing outside her little house. The sun was shining, birds were singing, and a gentle breeze was blowing through the trees. Lyly enjoyed the lovely weather and decided to spend the day cleaning her yard and arranging her favorite things.
Suddenly, she noticed some dark clouds gathering in the sky. The wind began to blow harder, and the leaves on the trees started shaking. Lyly looked up at the clouds and became worried. She thought a terrible rainstorm was coming that might flood her yard and damage her precious little house!
βOh no! My house is in danger!β Lyly seemed to say with a frightened expression. Without wasting any time, she rushed inside to find something she could use to protect her home.
First, Lyly collected several pieces of wood and placed them near the entrance. She believed they could stop rainwater from entering the house. Next, she carried small stones and piled them around the doorway. Although the stones were heavy, Lyly worked hard and refused to give up.
Then, she noticed her clothes hanging outside. Worried they would become soaking wet, she quickly gathered them and brought them indoors. She also moved her favorite toys, blankets, and food supplies to a safe corner. Lyly even tried covering the roof with a large plastic sheet to prevent water from leaking inside.
After all that hard work, Lyly stood outside and proudly looked at her house. She felt relieved because she believed she had prepared everything for the coming storm.
However, a few minutes later, something surprising happened. The dark clouds slowly moved away, and the bright sunshine returned. There was no heavy rain at all! Lyly looked at the sky with wide eyes, wondering what had happened.
Just then, her mother came home and saw the wooden pieces, stones, and plastic sheet scattered around the house. She looked confused before Lyly explained her worries. Her mother gently comforted her and helped her put everything back in its proper place.
Lyly finally understood that she had mistaken ordinary changes in the weather for a dangerous storm. She felt a little embarrassed but was happy that her house was safe.
From that day on, Lyly learned an important lesson: it is good to be prepared, but it is also important to understand a situation before taking action. With her mother’s help, she finished cleaning the yard and enjoyed the sunny afternoon with a big smile. π΅β€οΈπ‘
