One beautiful morning, baby monkey Ri Ri woke up earlier than usual. Instead of running around the house and playing with her favorite toys, she quietly walked toward the table where her dad kept his books, notebooks, and pencils. She had noticed Dad spending time reading and writing, and now she wanted to try doing the same thing!
When Dad finished preparing breakfast, he went to check on Ri Ri. Suddenly, he stopped in surprise at the doorway. There was his little baby monkey sitting at the table, looking carefully at an open book just like a human child getting ready for school!
Ri Ri held a pencil in her tiny hand and tried to copy the marks she saw on the paper. She looked incredibly serious, moving her pencil back and forth while occasionally turning the pages. Dad couldn’t believe his eyes. His playful little girl, who usually preferred climbing and jumping, was now pretending to study!
Curious about what Ri Ri was doing, Dad slowly approached her. He smiled and asked what she was learning. Ri Ri looked up at him with her adorable eyes, then pointed proudly at her notebook as if she wanted to show him her homework.
Dad laughed happily and decided to encourage her curiosity. He brought her some colorful picture books and showed her pictures of fruits, animals, and familiar objects. Ri Ri watched attentively, pointing at each picture while Dad explained what it was.
Soon, their little study session became a fun learning adventure. Ri Ri tried to imitate Dad’s actions, turned the pages carefully, and even pretended to write her name. Sometimes she held the pencil upside down or made funny marks across the paper, making Dad laugh even harder!
After studying for a while, Ri Ri became tired and leaned against Dad’s arm. He gently hugged her and praised her for being such a curious and clever little monkey.
Dad realized that learning didn’t have to be serious or difficult. With patience, encouragement, and love, even simple everyday activities could become wonderful opportunities for discovery.
