Abu had spent the whole morning helping Mom around the house. After finishing their chores, he became very tired and decided to take a peaceful afternoon nap. Before closing his eyes, Abu noticed a delicious smell coming from the kitchen.
He looked at Mom suspiciously.
“What are you cooking?” Abu seemed to ask.
Mom smiled innocently and told him not to worry. Abu trusted her, curled up comfortably, and soon fell fast asleep.
But Mom had a secret plan.
While Abu was sleeping peacefully, Mom quietly prepared a delicious snack for herself. She tiptoed into the kitchen, trying not to make any noise. She looked toward Abu to make sure he was still asleep.
Then she happily enjoyed her meal.
Unfortunately for Mom, Abu suddenly woke up!
Still sleepy, he walked toward the kitchen and immediately noticed the empty plate on the table. His eyes became wide with surprise.
He looked at Mom.
Then he looked at the plate.
Then back at Mom.
Abu quickly realized what had happened.
Mom had secretly eaten while he was sleeping!
Abu looked incredibly disappointed. He crossed his arms and turned his face away as if he were saying, “How could you eat without me?”
Mom couldn’t help laughing at his dramatic reaction.
She tried to explain that she only wanted a small snack because she was hungry. But Abu wasn’t convinced. He pointed toward the empty plate and made a funny expression.
Mom realized that Abu wasn’t really angry. He simply wanted to share the delicious food with her.
So Mom decided to make things right.
She went back into the kitchen and prepared another plate, this time with enough food for both of them. When Abu saw the new snacks, his serious expression immediately disappeared.
He happily sat beside Mom and began enjoying the meal.
Mom smiled and gently reminded Abu that sometimes people eat when they are hungry—but sharing food with someone you love makes it even more special.
Abu nodded happily while taking another bite.
Soon, both of them were laughing together.
What started as a tiny secret turned into a funny family moment. Abu may have been upset when he discovered Mom’s little secret, but in the end, he was much happier knowing Mom had saved some delicious food just for him.
And from that day on, Mom knew one important rule: Never eat a tasty snack secretly when Abu is nearby! 😂🐒🍽️❤️
