It was a peaceful morning when Dad heard a faint “meow” coming from the bushes near the garden. Curious, he walked closer and discovered a tiny orange kitten shivering beneath the leaves. The little kitten looked hungry, frightened, and far too small to be alone.
Dad gently picked up the kitten and carried it home. Baby Monkey was waiting at the door and gasped with surprise.
“A kitten!” Baby Monkey exclaimed, clapping with excitement.
Dad smiled softly. “This little one needs our help. Would you like to be my special helper today?”
Baby Monkey nodded eagerly. “Yes, Dad! I’ll help take care of our tiny friend.”
First, Dad wrapped the kitten in a soft, warm blanket while Baby Monkey carefully stroked its tiny head with one finger. The frightened kitten slowly stopped shaking and began to relax.
Next, Dad prepared a small bottle of kitten formula. Sitting beside him, Baby Monkey watched closely as Dad showed how to gently feed the little kitten. When it was Baby Monkey’s turn, Dad helped hold the bottle while the kitten happily drank every drop.
“Good job!” Dad said proudly.
Baby Monkey beamed with happiness. “The kitten is getting stronger!”
After feeding time, they used a warm, damp cloth to gently clean the kitten’s tiny paws and fluffy face. Baby Monkey was very careful, making sure every movement was soft and gentle.
Later, Dad built a cozy little bed using a small basket, fluffy towels, and a favorite toy to help the kitten feel safe. Baby Monkey added a tiny stuffed animal beside the kitten so it wouldn’t feel lonely.
As the afternoon passed, the kitten became more playful. It stretched, purred happily, and even climbed onto Baby Monkey’s lap for a nap.
Dad smiled as he watched the sweet friendship growing.
“You’ve been a wonderful helper today,” Dad said.
Baby Monkey hugged the kitten carefully and replied, “Every little animal deserves love.”
That evening, the tiny kitten slept peacefully in its new bed while Baby Monkey sat nearby, making sure it was comfortable. Dad felt proud of the kindness and patience Baby Monkey had shown all day.
Together, they learned that helping a small animal doesn’t require great strength—only gentle hands, caring hearts, and the willingness to share love with those who need it most.
