It was a peaceful morning on the family farm when baby monkey Abu ran outside, eager to play. Every day, he looked forward to meeting his tiny animal friend, who always greeted him with cheerful excitement. But today, something seemed very different.
Near the garden fence stood a small, muddy little friend covered from head to toe in dirt after a night of heavy rain. The poor animal looked completely different from usual. Abu tilted his head in confusion and cautiously stepped closer. He stared for a moment, trying to remember where he had seen this little creature before.

Mom brought a bucket of warm water and carefully helped clean the muddy little animal. As the dirt washed away, its bright fur appeared once again, and Abu laughed because now it looked exactly as he remembered.
To celebrate their reunion, Mom prepared fresh fruit for Abu and a tasty snack for his little companion. They enjoyed a wonderful afternoon playing games, chasing butterflies, and exploring the garden together.
Before the day ended, Abu learned an important lesson: true friendship isn’t about appearances. No matter how someone looks on the outside, kindness, love, and familiar acts of friendship always shine through. That heartwarming reunion became one of Abu’s happiest memories, reminding everyone that real friends are never forgotten.
