One sunny morning, baby monkey Xuka woke up excited to spend the day with her best friend, the little puppy. She jumped happily around the house while Dad prepared their breakfast. Xuka thought they were going on a fun adventure because Dad brought out the travel bag and called both of them to come along.

The puppy wagged his tail excitedly, but Xuka felt curious when Dad gently placed her inside the carrier. She tilted her head and stared at him with big confused eyes. Still, she trusted Dad and quietly sat beside the puppy during the car ride.

As they arrived at the animal clinic, Xuka suddenly became nervous. Strange smells filled the room, and she could hear dogs barking and cats meowing everywhere. She tightly hugged the puppy while looking around carefully.

When the nurse came closer, Xuka immediately climbed onto Dad’s shoulder and refused to let go. Her tiny hands wrapped around his neck while her face showed pure panic. Dad softly stroked her head and whispered comforting words to calm her down.

The puppy was called first for vaccination. After hearing the puppy cry softly for one second, Xuka’s eyes grew wide with fear. She looked shocked and quickly covered her own arm as if she already knew what was coming next.

Soon, it was Xuka’s turn.

The moment the doctor gently held her arm, Xuka made the funniest dramatic expression. She squealed loudly and stared at Dad as if asking, “Why are you doing this to me?” Even the people inside the clinic could not stop laughing at her adorable reaction.

Thankfully, the vaccination was over very quickly. Dad immediately hugged Xuka and gave both her and the puppy their favorite snacks as a reward for being brave.

A few minutes later, Xuka completely forgot about the scary injection. She happily played with the puppy again and even climbed onto Dad’s lap for cuddles during the ride home.

Although Xuka had been frightened at first, she learned that Dad only wanted to protect her and keep both little friends healthy and safe.
