Baby monkey Xuka was having a normal morning, swinging happily around the yard while his father prepared something special in the kitchen. The delicious smell floating through the air made Xuka curious. He quickly climbed onto the table, his bright little eyes searching for the treat his father had promised him earlier.
A few moments later, Xuka’s father carefully carried out a strange-looking cake. It was unlike any cake Xuka had ever seen before. The cake was green, soft, and covered with colorful fruit slices, crunchy peanuts, and tiny flowers on top. Xuka tilted his head in confusion and stared at it without blinking. He sniffed it once, then twice, unsure whether it was food or some kind of funny decoration.
His father smiled and encouraged him to take a bite. Xuka slowly reached out his tiny hand and poked the cake carefully. The soft texture surprised him, making him pull his hand back immediately. Everyone nearby laughed at his funny reaction. Xuka looked embarrassed but also more curious than before.
Finally, he gathered his courage and took a very tiny bite. At first, his face looked completely shocked. His eyes widened, and his mouth froze as he tried to understand the strange flavor. The cake tasted sweet, creamy, and slightly sour all at once. For a second, nobody knew if Xuka liked it or hated it.
Then suddenly, the little monkey began chewing faster and faster. His shocked expression quickly changed into pure happiness. Xuka squealed excitedly and clapped his hands while grabbing another huge bite of the cake. Crumbs covered his cheeks, and cream got all over his tiny nose, making him look absolutely adorable.
His father laughed proudly as Xuka happily finished almost the entire cake by himself. After eating, Xuka rubbed his round belly and gave his father a big hug to thank him for the delicious surprise.
From that day on, whenever Xuka smelled something sweet coming from the kitchen, he would come running immediately, hoping his father had made another strange but tasty cake just for him.
