The morning sun shone brightly over the peaceful little farm as Baby Yen Nhu skipped happily across the yard, wondering what adventure the day would bring. In the middle of the garden stood a young fruit tree covered with tiny green apples.
“This is our special tree,” CUTIS explained proudly. “Dad and I planted it last year. We wanted it to grow quietly before showing everyone.”
Yen Nhu carefully touched one of the little apples and smiled from ear to ear. “It’s beautiful! I promise I’ll help take care of it.”
The two friends spent the afternoon watering the tree, pulling tiny weeds, and placing colorful stones around its base. CUTIS even hung a handmade wooden sign that read, “Friendship Garden.”
Before leaving, they picked a few wildflowers to bring home for Mom and Dad. When the family later visited the hidden garden together, everyone was amazed by the peaceful place and the growing tree.
