Bobo and Mom had a special plan for the day. Early in the morning, they walked into the garden together to harvest some fresh, ripe guavas. The garden was peaceful, and the trees were filled with beautiful green fruits. Bobo happily followed Mom, knowing that these guavas were not just for eating. They were going to bring them to Lala’s resting place.
Mom carefully checked each guava before picking it. She chose the freshest and most beautiful ones, gently placing them into a basket. Bobo watched closely and soon began helping her. He reached toward the lower branches and carefully picked the guavas he could reach. Every time he successfully picked one, he proudly showed it to Mom.
“You’re doing a great job, Bobo,” Mom said with a warm smile.
After filling the basket, they washed the guavas and arranged them neatly. Bobo seemed especially excited, but there was also a quiet sadness in his eyes. He knew they were preparing something special to remember Lala.
When everything was ready, Bobo and Mom carried the basket together and walked toward Lala’s resting place. Along the way, Bobo held the basket carefully, making sure none of the guavas fell out.
When they arrived, Mom gently placed the fresh guavas beside Lala’s grave. Bobo sat quietly nearby and looked at the resting place for a long moment. The happy memories of Lala seemed to fill his heart.
Mom softly told Bobo that even though Lala was no longer with them, the love they shared would always remain. Bringing Lala’s favorite things and spending time there was their way of keeping those precious memories alive.
Bobo gently placed one beautiful guava beside the others. Then he leaned close to Mom, finding comfort in her embrace.
For Bobo and Mom, the guavas were more than just fresh fruit from the garden. They were a simple gift filled with love, remembrance, and gratitude.
As they left, Bobo looked back one more time. His heart was still heavy, but he knew Lala would forever have a special place in their hearts. ❤️🌿
