Baby monkey Zika was very excited early in the morning because today he wanted to become a little chef. After watching his uncle prepare food many times, Zika finally decided to make something special by himself. He happily ran around the kitchen holding a tiny basket while thinking carefully about what to cook.
After searching through the fresh ingredients, Zika chose juicy pieces of meat, colorful bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and fresh green vegetables. Everything looked bright and delicious. His uncle smiled proudly and helped wash the vegetables while Zika carefully placed them on a small tray.
“Today, Chef Zika will make the best skewers ever!” he said proudly.
Zika wore a tiny cooking apron that looked adorable on him. He looked very serious while preparing the skewers. First, he carefully placed a piece of meat onto the stick. Then he added green peppers, onions, mushrooms, and tomatoes one by one. Sometimes he accidentally dropped a vegetable on the floor, making everyone laugh loudly.
Even though he was small, Zika worked very hard. He arranged every skewer beautifully with colorful vegetables between the juicy meat pieces. Soon, the tray became full of delicious-looking skewers ready for cooking.
His uncle helped light the small charcoal grill outside the house. When the fire became warm enough, Zika slowly placed the skewers over the grill. The sound of sizzling meat immediately filled the air. A mouthwatering smell spread everywhere, making even the neighbors curious about what was cooking.
Zika carefully turned each skewer again and again, trying not to burn them. He brushed a tasty sauce over the meat while smiling proudly like a real professional chef. The vegetables became shiny and slightly golden while the meat cooked perfectly.
Finally, the delicious skewers were ready.
Zika placed them neatly on a plate and proudly served them to his family. Everyone took a bite and instantly smiled with surprise. The meat was juicy, the vegetables were sweet and tender, and the sauce tasted amazing.
“Wow, Chef Zika is incredible!” his uncle said happily.
Hearing the compliments made Zika beam with joy. He clapped his tiny hands excitedly and happily ate together with everyone.
That evening became one of the warmest and happiest family dinners ever, all thanks to Chef Zika’s super delicious meat and vegetable skewers.
