Early one sunny morning, Farmer Dad walked into the barn with a basket of fresh hay, ready to feed the animals. But something was very strange. Their friendly cow was nowhere to be seen! The gate was slightly open, and there were hoofprints leading toward the nearby meadow.
Dad immediately became worried. “Where could she have gone?” he asked while searching around the farm.
CUTIS, the cheerful little monkey, noticed the worried look on Dad’s face. Instead of panicking, he scratched his head, smiled confidently, and said, “Don’t worry, Dad. We’ll find her. But first, you need to stay calm!”
CUTIS searched around the fields, looked behind the trees, and even asked the chickens if they had seen the missing cow. The chickens simply clucked and wandered away, making CUTIS laugh. Although the search didn’t lead anywhere, CUTIS refused to let Dad lose hope.
After a busy morning, CUTIS had a surprising idea.
“Dad, you’ve been working so hard. Let’s take a short break at your favorite restaurant. We can continue searching afterward with fresh energy!”
At first, Dad hesitated. “How can I relax when our cow is missing?”
CUTIS gently held Dad’s hand and smiled. “Sometimes the best ideas come when our minds are relaxed.”
Dad agreed, and together they drove into town. At the cozy restaurant, they enjoyed warm noodle soup, crispy spring rolls, and refreshing fruit juice. CUTIS entertained everyone by pretending to be the restaurant’s funniest waiter, balancing empty trays and making silly faces that had Dad laughing until tears filled his eyes.
Just as they finished eating, Dad’s phone rang.
It was a friendly neighbor.
“I found your cow!” the neighbor happily said. “She wandered into my grassy field and has been peacefully eating all afternoon.”
Dad sighed with relief and thanked the neighbor.
CUTIS clapped his hands excitedly. “See, Dad? A little laughter and a full stomach helped everything work out!”
They returned home together, welcomed the happy cow back to the farm, and rewarded her with extra hay. That evening, Dad thanked CUTIS for reminding him that even during unexpected problems, staying calm, sharing a meal, and keeping a smile can make every challenge much easier to overcome.
