One sunny morning, CUTIS and Buem found themselves facing a brand-new challenge—learning how to take care of a baby. At first, they were excited, thinking it would be easy and fun. But as soon as the baby started crying, both of them looked at each other with confused expressions.
CUTIS gently picked up the baby and tried to calm it down. “Maybe the baby is hungry,” he guessed. Buem quickly ran to bring a baby bottle. But when they tried to feed the baby, it didn’t stop crying. The two friends scratched their heads, wondering what they had done wrong.
“Maybe the diaper needs to be changed,” Buem suggested. CUTIS nodded, though he wasn’t very confident. Changing a baby’s diaper seemed much more difficult than they had imagined. They carefully opened the diaper and tried their best to replace it with a clean one. The whole process was messy and awkward, but they worked together and managed to finish it.
For a moment, the baby became quiet, and CUTIS and Buem felt proud of themselves. But just a few minutes later, the baby started crying again. Now they were completely confused.
CUTIS tried rocking the baby gently in his arms, walking slowly around the room. Buem stood nearby, watching closely and offering advice even though he wasn’t sure what to do either. “Maybe the baby just wants to be held,” Buem said.
Surprisingly, the baby slowly began to calm down. CUTIS smiled with relief while Buem clapped happily. They both realized that taking care of a baby required patience, teamwork, and a lot of love.
Although they made many mistakes along the way, the experience taught them something important. Babies cannot tell us what they need, so caring for them means paying attention and trying different ways to make them comfortable.
By the end of the day, CUTIS and Buem were tired but proud. They might have been confused at first, but they learned that with kindness, patience, and cooperation, even the most challenging tasks can become a heartwarming adventure.
