Early one peaceful morning, CUTIS noticed that Mom was not feeling well. She had been coughing several times and looked tired as she rested near the house. CUTIS immediately became concerned and stayed close to her, watching carefully to make sure she was comfortable.
Mom explained that her throat felt irritated and that she needed plenty of rest. CUTIS wanted to help, but he wasn’t sure what he could do. Then Dad mentioned that some traditional herbs growing around the farm were often used in home remedies. CUTIS suddenly became excited. He decided that he would help Dad search for the right plants.
Wearing his little hat and carrying a small basket, CUTIS followed Dad into the garden. He carefully looked among the green leaves, checking each plant with great curiosity. Every time he discovered an herb that Dad recognized, CUTIS became more excited.
Suddenly, CUTIS spotted a healthy-looking plant hidden beside a tree. He quickly pointed toward it and called Dad over. Dad took a closer look and happily confirmed that it was one of the herbs they had been searching for.
CUTIS burst into happy laughter and jumped around with excitement. He proudly picked the herbs with Dad’s help and placed them gently into his basket.
“Mom will feel better!” CUTIS seemed to say with a huge smile.
When they returned home, Mom was surprised to see CUTIS carrying the basket. He proudly showed her the herbs he had helped find. Mom smiled warmly and hugged him, touched by his thoughtful effort.
Dad prepared a simple traditional herbal drink according to the family’s usual method, while Mom continued to rest and drink plenty of fluids. CUTIS stayed nearby, watching over her like a tiny nurse.
Every few minutes, he would check on Mom and make funny expressions to make her smile. Soon, Mom was laughing despite her cough.
CUTIS was thrilled to see her smiling again. He clapped his little hands and laughed happily, feeling proud that he had been able to help.
For CUTIS, finding those herbs was more than just an adventure. It was his special way of showing Mom how much he loved her. His kindness, enthusiasm, and cheerful laughter brought warmth to the whole family and turned an ordinary day into a touching memory.
