It was a quiet morning on the farm when CUTIS noticed that his dad was not feeling well. After spending hours working hard and selling watermelons, Dad looked tired and weak. CUTIS became concerned and decided to stay close to him to make sure he was comfortable.
Dad rested for a while, and CUTIS carefully checked on him several times. He even brought him some water and stayed nearby, hoping his father would feel better soon. Everything seemed peaceful until CUTIS suddenly noticed that Dad was no longer inside the house.
CUTIS looked around in confusion.
“Where did Dad go?” he seemed to wonder.
He quickly checked the bedroom, the kitchen, and the yard, but Dad was nowhere to be found. CUTIS became increasingly worried. Because Dad had been sick, CUTIS was afraid that something might have happened to him.
He rushed outside and searched around the farm. He looked near the garden, beside the trees, and around the storage area. Every time he saw an empty spot, his worry grew stronger.
CUTIS even checked places where Dad usually worked. He carefully looked around the watermelon field and the nearby path, hoping to spot his father.
But Dad was still nowhere to be seen.
CUTIS refused to give up. He continued searching, calling out and looking in every corner. His determined expression showed how much he cared about his sick father.
After a long search, CUTIS finally noticed something that gave him hope. He saw Dad in a quiet area nearby, taking a little rest. Dad had simply left the house to get some fresh air because he was feeling uncomfortable.
