One sunny afternoon, CUTIS decided he wanted to surprise Yen Nhu with a delicious homemade bowl of noodles. Feeling like a little chef, he proudly put on his cooking apron and marched into the kitchen with excitement.
“I’ll make the tastiest noodles ever!” CUTIS seemed to say as he gathered vegetables, eggs, and noodles onto the table.
Meanwhile, little Yen Nhu sat nearby, happily playing with her toys and watching CUTIS begin his important cooking mission.
At first, CUTIS kept glancing over to make sure Yen Nhu was safe. But as the cooking became more exciting, he became completely focused on his masterpiece.
He carefully boiled the noodles, stirred the soup, and added ingredients one by one like a professional chef. He even tasted the broth several times to make sure it was perfect.
CUTIS became so busy cooking that he forgot to check on Yen Nhu.
A few minutes later, he turned around with a big smile, ready to show off his delicious creation.
But Yen Nhu was gone.
CUTIS froze.
He looked around the kitchen, under the table, behind the chairs, and near the doorway. No Yen Nhu.
His excitement quickly turned into worry.
“Where did she go?” he wondered as he hurried from room to room searching for his little friend.
Just as CUTIS was about to panic, he heard soft giggling coming from outside.
There was Yen Nhu sitting peacefully in the garden, surrounded by flowers and happily playing with a butterfly that had landed nearby.
CUTIS let out a huge sigh of relief.
He gently brought Yen Nhu back inside and promised himself that no matter how important cooking was, keeping an eye on friends and family would always come first.
Fortunately, the noodles were still warm and delicious.
CUTIS and Yen Nhu sat together and enjoyed the meal he had worked so hard to prepare.
In the end, the noodles tasted even better because they were shared with someone special.
