After a long and busy morning helping Dad around the farm, Cutis decided that he had worked hard enough. He looked at Dad, then looked around at the sunny yard, and suddenly seemed to have a brilliant idea.
Cutis wanted a day of complete relaxation!
Instead of running around the farm or helping with chores, he started preparing his own special relaxation plan. First, he found a comfortable spot under the shade of a tree. Then he brought a soft mat and carefully placed it on the ground. He even found a small pillow and positioned it perfectly.
Dad watched from a distance, wondering what Cutis was doing.
Cutis wasn’t finished yet.
He brought some fresh fruit, a cup of water, and his favorite little snack. Then he grabbed a small fan and placed it beside his mat. After everything was ready, Cutis climbed onto the mat, stretched his arms and legs, and let out the biggest, happiest sigh.
Dad couldn’t help laughing.
“You’ve certainly planned everything!” Dad said.
Cutis looked at him proudly as if to say, “Of course I have!”
But then Cutis added one more important part to his plan. He pointed toward Dad and gestured for him to sit beside him.
Dad immediately understood.
Cutis didn’t just want to relax alone. He wanted Dad to relax with him!
Dad tried to explain that there was still plenty of work to do around the farm. But Cutis simply patted the empty space beside him and gave Dad his sweetest smile.
It was impossible to say no.
Dad finally sat down beside Cutis. The two enjoyed the cool breeze, fresh fruit, and peaceful afternoon together. Cutis looked incredibly satisfied, occasionally giggling whenever Dad tried to get up.
Every time Dad moved, Cutis would gently pull him back toward the mat, making Dad laugh even harder.
Soon, Dad realized that he actually needed the break too. After such a busy morning, spending quiet time with Cutis was the perfect way to recharge.
Cutis proudly smiled, knowing that his relaxation plan had worked perfectly.
By the end of the afternoon, both Dad and Cutis were completely relaxed and happy. What started as Cutis’s funny little plan turned into a wonderful family moment.
